Make a big impact with a small monthly gift
Habitat Hope Builders are a special group of our most valued partners dedicated to helping families in need of safe, affordable housing in their communities and around the world.

Hope Builders make small, automatic donations every month, which makes it easier for Habitat to plan long-term, budget more efficiently and create more life-changing outcomes. You choose how much to give and for how long, and you can change your amount or cancel at any time.

Become a Hope Builder today and help make this a world where everyone has a safe, decent place to live.
2025 is Habitat for Humanity York County's 40th anniversary.
This year we encourage Habitat supporters to donate $40 a month.
All $40 monthly donors will receive a special end of year appreciation.
"Our family has supported Habitat for Humanity in several communities since 1983. We especially like the way volunteers participate in the construction and get to know the families first-hand - it makes the idea of affordable housing more real. Donating monthly simplifies meeting our annual financial commitment and puts it on par with the other monthly essentials of our family."
~Bruce Donath, Habitat Hope Builder
Why donate to Habitat?
Affordable housing makes a difference:

-
Housing can powerfully affect a child’s ability to thrive. Studies show that kids who live in safe, affordable homes are healthier, happier and do better in school.

-
Lower housing costs mean people can invest more in education. In 2015, researchers found that almost two-thirds of Habitat homeowners with children in Minnesota felt more confident about their ability to fund college for their kids.

-
A safe place to live can have a significant impact on a family’s health. According to the World Health Organization, families without decent housing face greater personal and environmental risks, are less nourished and have less access to health care.

-
Habitat’s work has long-term effects on family’s economic opportunities. Habitat homeowners report they are better able to pay bills on time, build savings and invest in education and small businesses.
